Adam Strah enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Niwot baseball program.  He has been with Niwot baseball since the 2011-2012 season as a varsity assistant.  He came to Niwot after spending 5 years as the varsity head coach of Rampart High School in Colorado Springs from 2005-2010.

As the head coach at Rampart High School, Adam had a career record of 73-30-1.    During his tenure, Rampart had four playoff appearances in five years.

The Rams were the 2009 League, District, and Regional champion with a State Final Four appearance.  That same year, Coach Strah was named the  5A Colorado coach of the year selected by the Denver Post.

In 2010, Rampart repeated as the  Colorado Springs Metro League champion.

In his 5 seasons, Rampart sent 12 players to Division I, II, II, NAIA, and Junior College schools.

Before coaching at Rampart High School, he was a head JV coach and varsity assistant at Walnut High School in Walnut, California from 2002-2005.

Adam attended high school in San Jose, California at Gunderson High School. He played fall baseball at San Jose City College and then played in the fall of 2000 at Azusa Pacific University in southern California.  His playing days ended there but continued at Azusa Pacific and obtained a B.A. in Physical Education.
